Taylor Pearman

Taylor Pearman began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Colchester at the age of 14 in 2011, having first become interested in grappling through playing UFC Undisputed. He started training MMA at Black Label under Alain Pozo, later focusing on Jiu-Jitsu and winning the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship at purple belt. Taylor continued training throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, despite the lack of competition opportunities. Afterwards, he left his coaching job to pursue grappling full-time, joining Los Banditos and working with strength and conditioning coach Charles Allen Price. In 2024, Taylor won the ADCC European Trials in the under-88kg division, submitting all six opponents by heel hook. His run included victories over Adam Wardzinski in the semi-final and Ben Bennett in the final, earning him a place at the ADCC World Championships. Known for his submission-focused approach and high-level leg-lock game, Taylor continues to compete internationally while developing his game at Los Banditos in London.
