Laura began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2016 in her hometown of Szczecin, Poland, having previously spent six years practising fencing. She started at Koch Akademia before moving to Berserkers Team just over a year later, also taking up judo and competing in both sports. In 2021, she left her studies and moved to London to pursue Jiu-Jitsu full-time, joining Fightzone London under Marco Canha. Laura won the IBJJF World and European Championships at brown belt before receiving her black belt from Marco in 2024, standing on the European Championship podium. Known for her creative, lapel-based style, she developed her game through years of training with bigger and stronger opponents. After a lengthy period away from competition due to injury, Laura is now returning to training and working towards competing again.
