The Academy+ Hybrid shorts are available in a range of colours and our part of our famous Academy range - Premium build at an amazing price point. Our hybrid shorts are perfect for no gi rolling. The inner layer is a super flexible lycra to enable a full range of movement. The outer layer is a classic Progress board short cut. Complete with a robust elasticated waistband combined with a drawstring for extra comfort. Roll with total confidence and freedom. Featuring Italian ink sublimation that will never run or fade, and our strongest lycra material we have ever produced.
A flexible but slightly smaller fit than our regular board shorts. If you've got chunky legs we recommend sizing up slightly. Unless you're looking for that short shorts look of course.

Although all our shorts now have anti-bobble technology, we always recommend washing your Progress shorts on a cold wash. If you have to wash hot, please do not exceed 30 degree.

United StatesGood shorts but not recommended for people with big legs.
The shorts look great but if you’re someone with big thighs they may not be for you. I ordered an XL and XXL. The XL fit perfectly around my waist but the inner liner hugs my thighs so tight that certain parts of my (male) body are highlighted more than I like, if you catch my drift. The XXL fit perfectly around my thighs but are a tad big on the waist and I feel as if they’ll expose more of my back side than anyone would care to see when I’m in certain positions. Quality seems fine, my only issue is with the inner liner. It would be cool to see an option to purchase a version of these shorts with no liner similar to the vasco model.
